Last winter, we bought eggs from people who had Ameraucanas in addition to the usual breeds (BO, PR, SLW, etc..). My daughter liked to take hard-boiled eggs in her lunch to preschool and one day brought a blue egg that doubled as her "show and tell" for the day. When I picked her up, the teacher said that all the kids in her class were staring at her as she ate, wondering if the egg looked any different on the inside

I gave a bunch to a friend that keeps exchange students. The kids(teens) thought they were neet. A few weeks later the girl from germany was overheard telling her dad on the phone about the mountan man that had chickens that layed eggs that were green. When asked later she said that her dad though she needed to come home becouse he was sure us Americans had her on drugs becouse chicken eggs dont come in green.

That's so funny! I had a man who came to the farm and saw our blue and green eggs and said he wouldn't eat or hatch those because those were the devil's eggs....He was serious too!

I sold a dozen blue and green eggs to customer. Then her grown daughter throw them out. She stated that the eggs had gone moldy.
