Colored rangers - crowing?

At what age do the colored Ranger roos start crowing? I read that the Cornish X are processed before they crow. I would like to do Rangers instead, but crowing would be an issue in my neighborhood.

Thanks for any info.
 
I think they "try" to crow at about 10-12 weeks old. Ask Harp as they have some 12 week old birds right now.

Not much of a crow though. You could get away with them in a city or neighborhood environment pretty easily, for noise at least.

The most noise they make it when they are all at the feeders first thing in the am, as they are all squawking and clucking as they eat and a few roos figuring out pecking order, but still very quite compared to any other poultry I raise.​
