Colorful Chickens

I dont know if this section to ask or not but a few years ago my neighbor who was a exotic chef had these really bright and colorful chickens. I think some where red, blue and purple. I was wondering if anyone knew the breed and info on them. when i saw them i thought he dyed them but he laughed and told me the name of the breed but i dont remember what he called them. I have searched for info but come up empty. I know of easter eggers that lay colored eggs but no colored chickens. Thanks in advance!

I know that the color red can be brought out in chickens but actual blue and purple chickens I have never heard of. Maybe someone else will know. And
