Colorful eggs

Who has the most colorful egg basket??? I want to raise hens that lay a rainbow of egg colors. What colors do you get and what breed are they from?

Love my green eggs w/ ham. My Easter Egger named Pumpkin leaves these for me every other day or so.

Here's my eggs. I have RIR, plymouth barred rock, EE, golden laced Wyandotte, buff Orpington, black Minorca. I still want super dark brown eggs, bright blue, and dark green eggs. What are the best breeds for those? I have a cuckoo maran that isn't laying yet and some wheaten penedesanca chicks. Also hatched some olive Eggers from a black Cooper maran roo mixed with true araucana hens.

2 California Whites- Spot and Tres (aka Spot’s Sister or SS)
3 Ameraucanas – Caramel, Mocha and Latte
2 Sultans (bantam) – Doo and Crooked Beak
1 Buff Brahma (bantam) – Bahama Brahma
3 Cornish (bantam) – Betty White, Redhead, and Dark One
1 Black Sex Link – Micki
3 EE’s Fluffy, Wellie and Callie

If you go to http://www.mypetchicken.com/chicken-breeds/which-breed-is-right-for-me.aspx there is a breed selection tool and you can choose to find colorful egg layers. The Maran lays dark brown and the Americauna (sp?) lay blues and greens. You might like both of those. Mine are all brown egg layers but were chosen by personality.

Yea, I have both of those but I'm discovering that certain breeds of those lay brighter colors. For example, the wheaten colors seem to lay super blue in ameraucana breeds and super dark brown in maran and penedesencas.

Sophiajw23-I believe it to be one of the EE's that is a WellieX.

I have 8 Americauna's but most of them lay thin shelled shells.

Ooh... I have a black sex link (lovely rosy brown..)and two EE ( one lays blue the other green). Also have a polish and a Banty Cochin chicks. Brown blue green and soon white!
