Fine, I confess. I too have been playing with genetics, trying to bring forth a chicken that can protect itself from predators.

I think I may have something here.

The only problem I'm having is that she eats everything she hatches....

Gosh, knowing that the person who started the thread calls himself "Purple Chicken", that would have given me the clue that he is not a real serious person and might like to make jokes once in a while.

It never ONCE occurred to me that the chick-coloring thread was real. I'm sorry that many people did. Please, know that we are on this forum because we ALL LOVE CHICKENS !! ! ! I would hope that would be as obvious as the sun in the sky. AND WE LIKE TO HAVE FUN WITH ODD IDEAS.
