Coloring Eggs

Ok I am not sure where to put this. But since I have chicknes and they are laying we where going to use the for Easter. But will brown, blue, pink brown eggs take dye.
 
I never even thought of that, but I am sure they would. However a brown egg mixed with any dye is going to come out browner. Blue with red dye would purple, etc.
 
You'll never know until you try! I'm curious about this as well. You might end up with some interesting combinations. Let us know if you do an experiment.
 
YES, they do take color and you will get some of the most beautiful colored eggs you have ever gotten before. My mom comes and steals all my brown bantam eggs to dye for my 3 year old ever Easter. On your darker eggs, whatever color you put them in, they come out WAY colored. Like blue will be royal blue and pink will be PINK. They are really pretty to dye.
