I just hatched some call ducklings. One of my parent sets was a blue fawn set. I know their color production combinations. I had a snowy female and a white male bred together. Their ducklings are the ones stumping me. Their ducklings appear to be mostly black with yellow chests a yellow spot on the tip of each wing. Legs and feet have black markings. I had these guys caged separetly, so what color patterns come from snowies?? Internet is lousy tonight from the rain, but I will post pics of the babes as soon as I can so maybe you can help me identify their colors. I think we may have gotten a pastel from the blue fawns.

Your white drake has extended black (hidden by the white gene) so, some or all ducklings will be black, depending on whether your drake is heterozygous or homozygous for it (extended black).

Some of our babies. Was a total of 7 that hatched out of 7 eggs. All with help. Lost one on his own, was very weak. I culled another today, it was not able to stay on its feet. Always on its back. Back had an unnatural curve and leg seemed stuck. Hard to do, but ultimately, seemed like the best decision. We have 4 very robust and growing calls that I am unsure about the colors. Parents for the striping guys are blue fawns and the black and yellow guys parents were a female snowy and a male white. Last baby in pic is the one with the misformed beak. He's holding his own so far, so I will let time tell as to whether he can grow and live a happy life! Any help on what colors these may be is greatly appreciated.

How cute! It looks like you have one that should be a Blue Fawn, unless the monitor on my lap top is deceiving. The other with the darker down and Mallard pattern should be a Grey (again though, he might end up being Blue Fawn too, hard to tell on this computer, they are a few shades lighter than Greys in their down color). You should get some Pastels eventually out of that pair, but they are much lighter ducklings, sometimes almost completely yellow.

The other two appear to be Black Bibbed. That is the fun of breeding to a white bird, you never know what may hatch. Your white drake is obviously carrying extended Black and Bibbed (among other colors I'm sure). They are sure adorable. I'm sorry you had to cull some, but I'm sure you made the right decision.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried to find pictures of call ducklings on google to compare the colors, but I'm not finding alot of specifics. We are planning on keeping them until they feather in, so we will certainly find out for sure once they feather in! We are hoping to find a nice looking white female to match up with the white male. I did not know the white calls could carry so many hidden colors in their genes. I'm certainly learning alot with all of this!
