I bought a 1yr old pekin bantam last year. She came white with brown flecks.
Before Christmas, she went into moult - and boy did she look a sorry sight!
Now, she appears to have filled out once again; however, she is no longer white with brown spots, but white with grey and black spots!
At first, I thought maybe my memory was playing tricks, but I've searched my pictures file and sure enough, she used to be white with brown specks but is now white with grey/black specks.
Is this normal? I have to assume it is because she is healthy in all other (apparent) respects, aside from not resuming egg laying (yet!).
