hi,

1. How do I get mille fleur, mottled or spangled?

2. if I cross a brown red ameraucana roo with black (minorca), buff (silkie/araucana cross) and hatchery white leghorns, what do I get? or with a white, non dominant, hens?

3, if I cross a BCM roo with this araucana, what colour will I get?

or a BCM with this?

1- you need the mottle gene. mille fleur is a black tail buff with mottling added. mottle/spangle is mottling over a solid black chicken.

2- minorca= colored like black sex links, buff= generally light colored chickens tending towards buff. white leghorns= they have dominant white. white chicks with random black little spots. They will grow up white or white with a light buff wash over them and the roosters white with red on wings and backs.

3- basically BCM color pattern, maybe have more 'color'. some crosses with buffs will give birds with lots of extra buff coloring.
