Just looking for a little help with colour genetics - specifically when applied to silkie chickens.
I cant seem to find any information on this?
Does anyone have any useful websites that they use... that are in english?
I'm looking to develop a partridge line true to standard.
Just wondering if anyone knew any information on the colour genetics of silkies?
In particular im looking to see what other colour would compliment my partridge line... that isnt a black or white chicken.
For example:
I was told that if i was to have my partridge silkie pullet crossed with a white cockerel... it would enhance feather quality? But what would the chick colours result in?
