Colour? I bought FBCM eggs and have my doubts.

I'm pretty sure this girl is not considered black, but as I have no experience with this breed I could be wrong.

I bought 4 FBCM eggs to hatch, 2 developed and hatched. 1 turned out to be a rooster and this girl now 9 1/2 weeks old. My biggest question is, is she a Maran and what is her colour?

Not black...that's blue.

Looks like a French Blue Copper Marans.

Thank you, I had a 2 broodies and they shared the job of hatching. It was pretty cool they did an amazing job for their first time.
