Colours on crosses

Maybe this is a stupid question, but if, for example, i cross a wheaten araucana to a wheaten marans, will i get a wheaten olive egger? Or do the colours get mixed up? And for other crosses like splash cochin to splash araucana,...
I think it might be interesting to have wheaten olive eggers or such

Absolutely yes!
You will get Wheaten OE.. the hatcheries that are trying this type of thing are offering partridge OE from Welsummer crosses for about $29/chick...

Cochin to Araucana is more like EE to me... as it would be more pastel I think. Seems like Ameraucana are easier to find than real Araucana.

Be patient and persistent. Network lots. Google it as many ways as you can think of. Keep going past page 1. Quality birds are awesome and so are the folks that work hard on their breeds.

I live in belgium, and here there are hardly any ameraucanas mostly just araucanas. Also 29$ for a chick seems like a hell of a lot! The question wasn't meant too specifically on OE i guess i just used araucana in both lol anyway, thanks!!

I live in Belgium, there are hardly any ameraucanas here, we mostly have araucana. I don't have them anymore, but i used to have a blue and a splash one
