Hello, I have been doing some reading about hatching sex links and what chickens are usually used. I really havent been able to find a decent answer about the columbian wyndotte. We have a N new Hampshire roo and several columbian hens. We were wondering if they carried the silver(if I read correctly) trait or not. From the little ive gathered at other sites ive heard no and others said they hatched as cinnamon queens. Has anyone bred these two personally? Thanks for reading

Have you checked this thread out?

https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/261208/sex-linked-information

It's a massive thread, but most of the info you need is right there on the first page. Tim did some nice charts and then some explanation underneath. He says Colombian Wyandottes are a good bird to choose, white Wyandottes aren't. So, sounds like you're good to go! I'd do a test hatch, and keep track of males and females and appearance at hatch, just to double check.
