Comb and wattle

Hi we have an exchequer leghorn hen who’s comb and wattle is quite pale or should I say more orange colour. I am wondering is it because she has not developed yet as she is 5 months old or because of the really hot weather we have been having? She is healthy otherwise and is acting completely normal

Can you post a picture? I’d guess it’s because she’s just not ready to lay yet, it’ll brighten up when she is. Leghorns handle heat quite well.

I will try to get a picture. Yeh she isn’t ready yet I don’t believe but on cooler days it is definitely more red so I’m not sure wether it is the heat.
