When I locked them up last night I saw that one hen was bleeding from her comb with quite a bit of blood on the floor. I didn't think too much of it because I know that when their combs bleed, they bleed A LOT but usually clot and heal on their own. But I get up in the morning, 12 hours later, and she's STILL bleeding, and I'm not sure if it's let up any through the night. She seemed like she was having a hard time breathing through her nose, so I went and got something to put over my hand to examine her, but when I got back she was breathing normally again (probably blood got in her nose?). Should I leave her be or should I try to help her. I have Blu-kote, but I need to clean the area first but I don't want to run the risk of damaging it further.
I got some pictures if they help. There's a glob of frozen blood on her neck in case you're concerned about what it is.
