Comb color after molting

One of my Australorps has pretty much finished molting and one other is in the process. I was just wondering about how long it takes for their combs get their nice red color back.

Generally a month from when they started to molt. Keep them on high protein feed during there process.

Some of mine don't really regain comb size/color until next spring.

Bright red combs indicate an active laying status,
so not until they start laying again will the combs get nice and red again.
Which in your neck of the woods might be several months or so.
