Comb color changes

Anyone know why the comb on my rooster changes . Alot of day s is it solid read , other days , a little part is purplish blue , WHY ?

NEXT day its back to bright red . MOOD SWINGS ?

That happens to Stupid's comb, too, but not Kip's. Strange, isn't it?

Our hens' combs drain of color when they get stressed. Maybe he gets scared really easily and can't stop thinking about the big bad coyote

It can also be a sign of physical stress - a weakened heart condition that isn't yet life threatening.
