Comb confusion.

I have a specific chicken I’m having problems identifying because of the comb. I was certain at hatch they were my crele Penedesenca And my Swedish flower rooster since they have the penedesenca comb but as they are maturing they are definitely blue in color so now the other option is them being my blue leghorn type hens and my Swedish flower rooster esp since they game the poof with some spangling coming in. But what is making this very visible king comb? I’ve used my leghorns to also breed a few other types of chickens and I’ve gotten some different results also that I’m confused about. Could someone help me out with comb combinations and outcomes?

Swedish flower chickens typically have single combs, what you called a kings comb (which I love btw!)

Single comb is recessive to most other comb types, so if you need for example a rose comb rooster to a single comb hen, all of their babies should be rose comb (but carry the gene for single comb). The only way to get single comb chicks, is for both parents to either have single combs, or both carry the gene for it.

I'm a little confused on the first paragraph of who's whose who- but if you have blue chicks, and your rooster is NOT blue or splash, that means the mom was blue. Blue is a dominant gene, it cannot be hidden or carried.

However, it does look like your boy may be a splash. He honestly looks like he's a mix, I'm not sure I've seen SFH with feathered legs either, the comb and the earlobe makes me a little curious
