Looks completely normal to me. (Not saying it’s not a rooster.) , but it’s too early to tell anyways.I’ve noticed my week old Prairie Bluebell Egger have some comb development after only a week. Is this normal? Or am I just paranoid about having roosters?
This chick is now 3 weeks old and the older it gets the more I assume it is a Roo. I know it is too early to know but with every rooster I’ve raised so far (3) I’ve had the same experience. The picture is that chick now(left) with a presumed pullet(right) that are the same age and breed. At 3 weeks pink waddles are also starting to develop.I'm so glad you asked that question. I have a one week Starlight and she has the same thing. She is my cuddly one and it would break my heart if she is a Roo. I am not allowed to have them in this zone.
