Comb development in RIRs

I recently purchased 2 purebred RIR pullets at 16 weeks. They are now 24 weeks - tall and leggy compared to my other hens - and with with almost no comb development. Is this normal for this breed? Thank you for any assistance.

They should have a medium comb by now, and it should be turning red by now.

I have wondered the same thing...My girls combs are still quite small. I figure they should be laying right around Easter..Nothing yet..Are yours?

No nothing yet - we are hoping for Easter eggs too!
