Comb Discoloration-Help!

One of my ameraucana's combs is turning black. I've tried washing it, nothing came off, so I don't think it's dirt. What can it be? Here are some pictures of her. Sorry they aren't the greatest, it's hard to take pics while holding a chicken.

It could be she is being overwhelmed by a mites/lice infestation or intestinal worms. There are certainly other possibilities but these are the simplest to check for and manage. Sometimes it indicates reduced blood flow due to a heart problem.

I think you'd better take her to the vet because chickens combs usually change to a dark blueish colour if they have bird flu.Alothough I doubt that your hen is infected with the virus.A vet will also be able to tell you wat is really wrong.
