Comb discoloration

Hi! It’s 15-25 degrees here and my 5 year old Austrolorp has a comb with an off color. It is usually way more red. She hadent layed and it’s cold so I’m wondering if the comb discoloration is due to that.

Their combs will be paler when they aren’t laying. It doesn’t look like frostbite to me 🙂
 
Sometimes it helps to understand why. A bright red comb is nature's way of telling the rooster that this hen is laying and needs her eggs fertilized. A pale comb says, don't bother. There are exceptions to everything to do with chickens, even more after we domesticated them, but this is the evolutionary reason for the combs to go pale when she is not laying. You will often see the same thing when a hen goes broody.

I agree with the others, nothing to worry about from that photo.
