I noticed one of my Cinnamon Queen pullets has an injury to her comb. It looks like it’s been torn from the back, but doesn’t seem to bother her. She is acting completely normal. These are the best pics I could get. I grabbed her today, because she is a miss touch me not, and my wife put some Hen Heal ointment on it. That is what makes the feathers around the comb look discolored. Not actively bleeding, and just a little bit of black on the torn part, which I assume is dried blood. Will this heal itself with the ointment, or should I do something else?

Probably from pecking. They get into it a little bit every now and then. I'll keep putting the ointment on it foe a few days, just to make myself feel better. Thanks for the answer! I freaked out a bit when I first saw it this morning!
