Comb Injury

We're not really sure how she suffered this injury, but we think it may be because she was in a panic since there was an off-leash dog outside our yard barking at them. We put some neosporin on it, and she seemed okay, but it didn't look good. There was some mild blood, but we were able to get rid of it easily. Does anybody know what to do about this?

She'll be fine. Depending upon the amount of damage she may lose that point on her comb, but I don't think that will happen,

I probably wouldn't do anything. Neosporin is fine. Then just leave it alone to heal. If you think other hens are pecking at it, you might want to isolate her for a few days, but I wouldn't do that unless there's a problem.

Okay, thank you! I haven't seen any others pecking, but if I do I'll make sure to separate her.
