Comb is DEEP Red

Hey guys I was free ranging my hens when I saw my barred rock had a deep red comb almost purple color. So, I just want to know if this is normal. Thanks in advance!

It looks kind of light in the picture but in IRL, it’s really dark.

A really dark purple comb can indicate heart or respiratory problems, but that bird appears to be fine.

Looks fine. Combs will darken when the bird is active.

It just seems a little darker at the end of the comb. That’s all.
