Comb mouisturizing? Can u?

Can u mouisturize a roosters comb with coconut oil? Do people do that ever? Make it shinny?

Why would you want to? People will put Vaseline on them during the winter to prevent frostbite, but I haven't heard about moisturizing, who knows maybe show people do?

What is the condition of his comb? does it look dull, dry? While you can put a moisturizer on his comb, it should not need it. Some folks do use vaseline to moisturize/protect combs when the winter temp is below freezing. I have never done so, and not had issue with frost bite. Ventilation year round is key.

He looks dapper in his hat! Some people use coconut oil on combs that appear dry and chaulky.

Yes you can and you can also use vet RX. I use it on my precious cockerels and it keeps them really super nice
