Comb on Hen Problem

Well....I can't find any information about this so thought I would just ask. My girls are about 11 mos old now and one of the four have a weird blackish spot on her comb. It does not seem to bother her but I know it was not there until about two months ago. Now it looks a little worse. It's not like an open sore or anything just a blackish/brownish spot. Any ideas out there as to what this is and what I should do if anything?

Could it be a scabbed over hen-pecked spot? If so. I would do the usually

it could be lack of oxygen to the comb make she he, she is breathing well
