Comb Point Discolored

I adopted this 2 yr old hen who has had this light colored point on her comb. What could cause this? Is there anything I can do about it?

If it were my bird, I'd keep an eye on it but it's not something I'd worry about otherwise. And the only reason for that being that I suppose it could be an early fowl pox lesion developing, not even so sure about that.

I actually think it looks like a normal color variation.

In my opinion, it looks pretty normal. Birds with black or dark skin often have dark combs of varying colors. Even chickens with red combs sometimes have a paler tip on a couple of the points. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
