I have a Speckled Sussex that is about 8 months old and she still has no comb. Should I be worried. She’s never had one so it’s not from getting pecked from the others , she’s the head chick in the flock. I’ve checked for mites and lice and nothing. I’ve attached pictures of her. She eats and drinks and poops normally nothing is wrong except her missing comb.

Don’t think this is bad, I have some hens with very small combs.

Thank you i’ve been wondering about her because of her feathers around her face. I got her from the local feed store and they had her listed as something completely different. Someone from BYC said she looked like her Speckled Sussex but she was only about a month old at the time.
