Comb question

Hello again, I am now posting a photo of my rooster, Rudy, who has a partially blackened comb. What is that from? Rudy is in the foreground with the partially blackened comb (Henrietta.......recently discovered to be Henry, is in the back)

You might want to post this in the "Emergencies/Diseases" forum. Maybe frostbite or a wound?

Looks like either a bad wound with dried blood/scab, or possibly frostbite (how cold is it where you are?). If you post this in the Emergencies section of the forum, though, you would probably get more responses.
