Comb Question

We have a 7 month old buff Orbington.I thought she was just a "different looking gal" but now I just had a thought that perhaps there was something wrong with her regarding her comb. Her comb flips over in two different places. Is this normal?

Welcome to BYC. Comb shapes are like hairdos - they come in many varieties.

Thank you- she seems very healthy, quite an egg layer and extremely sweet. She kind of looks like "kramer" from Seinfield

thank you all for the welcome! I had no idea how fun chickens were and what different personalities they all had. We have 4 hens and 2 roosters. We have one buff orbington, 1 lavendar English orbington, 1 black splash english orbington cuckoo, 1 blue splash english orbington cuckoo and 2 silver wyndottes (sp?). Supposedly, the 2 roosters (being splash/cuckoo..) is supposed to be special. We are so new to this I have no idea~

Yesterday- I caught myself reading up on reflective chicken jackets-- (ours are free ranged)- never in my life would I have thought I would have done that!

Reflective chicken jackets may be worth a look, I'm thinking it might scare some predators away.
