So my hen, she laid two eggs this winter, the silly girl, and I read up on comb shrinking and I saw it probably means broodiness, but just to make sure, I really want to know that she's not sick because I know that being prey animals, they can hide it well if they are, her name is Pepper and she is blind in one eye. (Her comb has shrunk and doesn't look like it should and is very soft)

If she's acting normal otherwise, a shrinking comb is nothing to worry about. When a bird stops laying, molts or goes broody, their combs often shrink.
