Hi, Just wanted some thoughts on my Barred Rock hen who must have got her head stuck in the hardware cloth. Im not even sure it was torn because there is no blood or scab. But what else would cause her comb to be flopping forward? I only have 3 hens and this girl is the boss so i cant see it caused by the others.

It doesnt seem to bother her although she does shake her head to move it. Do i need to manage this? Remove it? leave it alone?

Thanks for any thoughts!

I'd leave it alone. If you never noticed bleeding, I would guess that she is simply well endowed. Some girls are just blessed with more.
