I'll grab a picture when I get home, the father isn't single combed. It's high like a single comb, bit never had any tines and isn't smooth. It's wrinkly. Someone on here said it was a shield comb

Agreed. I’ve seen other V comb/single comb crosses that looked similar.

He has a pea comb. To be more specific, a heterozygous pea comb, aka a modified pea comb. He has a pea comb gene and a single comb gene. Looks like he passed the single comb gene to his offspring.
