My hen had been sitting on four eggs and two hatched last thursday. The other eggs never hatched so I was told to bring home two baby chicks from the feed store and put under her and take the eggs. We tried this last night and she attcked the first one we put in there with her. So now we have two chicks in the house under a light and the hen is still out there in the hen house with her babies. So my question is how long before I can relocate mom away from her babies and combine them with the other babies I brought home yesterday. They are all the same age I might add. We have the hen and her chicks sectioned off from the other hens and rooster I already have. I thought maybe let three wekks go by and possibly try to put the baby chicks together in the hen house taking them out of my house. Do you think they would get along alright? Thanks for any suggestions!

you can put them together any time you want, they will stare at each other for a while, then there will be some chest bumping, then they will all be best buddies
