I have 4 bantie cross hens, and 6 - 6 week old pullets.
The pullets are in a wire rabbit cage inside the aviary I built inside a building.
the older hens get the run of the aviary at night and go out in a tractor during the day. Then the pullets get out in to the aviary during the day.
They all can see each other very well but one of the pullets got out of the cage and an older bird attact her.
Am I ever going to be able to combine the two groups?
They have been in this situation where they can see each other for two weeks now and it's obvious I can't let them in the same room together.
The cage the pullets is in is 2 ft.x 5 ft. Their going to grow out of it sooner or later.
