I have seven about 8 weeks old EE that have been outside in a coop for about 2 weeks. I was given 2 bantams that are probably 6 weeks ago that are still in a garage space. I think they are ready to be outside. My concern is will the two be ok together. I have no other option but to combine them. I need to admit that I am a first time chicken owner. Tell me if togetherness will work for them!

I have bantams in with my large chickens with no problems. As long as you have plenty of coop and run space they should be fine

Just make sure you introduce them slowly. Are you familiar with how to integrate new birds? If so then you should be fine.....if not you'll definitely need to read how to. Good luck

It is very important for you to introduce your bantams very slowly. It might take a long time but you need to be patient. Your banties are outnumber and also they are so much smaller than your 8 weeks EEs. There are tons of information about integration in the forum, please read up and be informed since you run the risk of serious injuries if not properly done.

Thank you for your advice. I have read what I need to do and moved them yesterday after I cornered off a good size area in the run for the two. I have patience so this will work for me and them.
