Combining flocks...

Can I combine 2 five week old chicks with chicks that are only a few days old?

I know it's dangerous to combine chicks with older birds, but are five week olds considered "older"?

I'd say wait. The ones that are a few days old are still so small and I worry about competition for food, etc. and they are still fragile. The 1st few weeks are critical for proper development.
