My Rooster has got lots of scars on his comb is it normal or should i be worried.

I guess it all depends on your situation...mine do not, but there are no other competing roosters in with mine - one roo per pen. Do you have other roosters? Are they freeranged in an area that may have thorny plants? If so, I'd say it probably will happen then.

I do have competing cocks so that does seem to explain the scabs and scars.Thanks alot for the help
