Combs - What Kind?

How do I know what kind of comb my birds will have?
I was just looking at a RIR thread, and someone showed one with a rose comb, and the other with a single comb. Both RIRs.
Can someone educate me briefly on combs?
I have 3 RIRs and 3 Barred Rocks that came from Mt. Healthy hatchery.

They will most likely have have single combs. there are rose comb RIRs but they are rare. 99.9% are single comb

There are two types of RIRs yours will without a doubt have a single comb. RC RIRs are rare and Mt Healthy doesnt carry them. Barred only come in single combs.

Comb A breed that has this comb
Single BR, BO, NHR, BA etc.
Rose Dominiques, Wyandottes, Chantecler
Pea Brahmas, Buckeyes
