Heeeeeeey everybody!
I am starting a Radio Controlled Car Thread (Or any RCs)
I just bought a Tamiya 1/10 scale TT-02 Subaru Impreza Monte Carlo 99’ Rally Car. I am going to be buying upgrades to put on it for better performance.
I am team Subaru all the way so I went with the Subaru shell.
It is going to take me awhile to get it finished, but when I do I will take pictures and make videos to show all of you! If you have any kind of RC please post about it here!

I have RC cars! I currently have three, plus a boat I'll probably never use. I have two Traxxas, a 1/16 Slash and a Trx6, and an Arrma that I'm looking to trade for another Traxxas.

Here's my favorite RC car, the Traxxas 6x6:

I had the lights working on it for a little while, but a piece broke off and needs to be replaced. I've replaced the motor in it and had to get a new front fender for it too. This picture was taken when I first got it, so she's got a lot of scratches on her now, plus some stains from getting dirty. She still runs like new and I've been meaning to take her out again soon.

It is, and I've taken it a few places too. It's a crawler, so it's really nice to take it by the ocean and drive it on the boulders there.

The reason I got the rally version is because rally is my favorite motorsport and their are RC competitions as well as championships.
I have watched some on YT and they are pretty cool!

DH and I have two RC cars. Nothing spectacular, just something we got to learn on.

DH flies (and designs) RC planes that he engineers, 3D prints, constructs and flies.

Me? I fly RC helios. Nothing fancy. I enjoy just flying them around without crashing hopefully.

We have about 9 acres of pasture that we fly in complete with a run way.

Great idea for a thread.

That is pretty fancy with a runway!
And like I said! Any RC is welcome.
Even a oscillating fan that is controlled by a remote lol!

There are some tracks that I know of, and I considered trading my Arrma for a truck to race, but it's an expensive hobby and I don't have the time or money to put into it. It is an idea, but it's probably something I'll never do. I'm happy with just pulling out the 6x6 and Slash and driving with my siblings and neighbors.

There is a nice RC car track in Novelty MO not too far from us. Our problem is that we need RC dune buggies to drive around our property. No concrete to be found except our shop floor. BIG dune buggies or make a hard packed dirt track to drive on.

We haven't ventured to the Novelty track. Our cars are entry level and these guys are into it with some serious vehicles.
