This was last year. We totalled out at 12' last year. This year we haven't had much snow, just wicked cold. North Idaho

AtholCoop, you made me laugh! Your coop is adorable with its topknot, rather like a Silkie hen or a Polish:) But, yikes...12 FEET? ~G
 
Sorry didn't mean to scare ya!!! Yep! They are comfy cozy in there!!!

They have an attached nesting box stuffed with hay and their food & water and their run(which you totally can't see from the pic) is a little cozy igloo but inside the hay is nice and dry and they are doing great! The tops of these tractors are covered for the winter so they are safe from the weather. Here's a pic of what one of my tractors looks like without the snow(and of course this is a summer pic so it doesn't have a covered run at this point).

I give you guys alot of credit that deal with this kind of snow all winter!!! :cafIt's amazing and beautiful to look at but WOWZERS!!!! It's a SERIOUS amount of WHITE STUFF!!!

WOW, I don't know how you guy and YOUR chickens do it, in weather like that!! I would just have to bring them under the carport or in the house... I couldn't manage that.....
