Luckily, I actually live at home with Mom (and Dad) and we still have the same canners she always used, so honestly it's not as hard as I make it seem in my head, lol. Would be good to have them checked though, it's been a few years. Gosh, I remember every summer of my youth spending all day picking, snapping, cleaning, and canning quarts of green beans. I hated it! :lau And now here we are...
 
I don't own a pressure canner unfortunately, it's not a big thing here in europe, in future i will see if I can find one, infact, freezer space is really a premium. we do bone broth with a pressure cooker, about 3 to 4 hours in comes amazing, (feet goes in too as well)
