commercial straightline baby chicks...... 6 weeks old?

What does that mean? A friend gave me 8 baby chicks 6 weeks old and said they were commercial straight line....

What is that?

They are white with black tip wings and really FAT legs...... any clues?

Straight run cornish rocks.

Best eaten/frozen before 16 weeks.

But, there have been some on here who have kept feed from them and have raised them to lay eggs and breed.

Most die young so you have to eat them...it's what they were bred to do.... be consumed.
