Communal Bathing vs. Private Bathing

5 of 6 birds were having a communal dust bath this afternoon.

One of the Blue Australorps came out to see if I had any treats:

But Chipotle felt that a private bath in the corner was better than joining the crowd under the pallet.

She isn't being bullied. She's quite capable of shoving her way to the front of the treat line and taking the tomato or whatever I've got for them. But she often does her own thing (including flying up to places her heavier sisters can't go). :D
 
Communal bathing is fine as long as none of them gits naked. Oh wait,,,,, they are all hens :idunno well, as long as no roosters around,, it should be fine. :thumbsup

No roosters among them.

Next spring I'll get some straight run in hope of getting a good rooster or two.
