Communication with Greenfire Farms?

Hi everyone!

I won an auction from Greenfire Farms on Rare Breed Auctions yesterday around 2PM for 12 random chicks.

I've been trying to e-mail them but no response.. I'm a bit worried.
They haven't contacted me and I already paid.

Does anybody else have this problem with them?
Also, I read somewhere on here that their auctions are usually for their weak left over birds.. is this true?
Someone else said they won an auction and Greenfire Farms sent them all roosters..

It was only $160 for 12 chicks so it was definitely a good deal but I'm a bit worried now.

Are you sure they have weekend hours?

Most places that have deals like that aren't for weak chicks but for unsold chicks. A company that is trying to maintain a good reputation wouldn't send weak chicks in the mail or they'd all arrive dead.

I figure you won the auction but the chicks haven't hatched yet. Probably Monday. If you don't hear from them by Mon/Tue, then I'd worry.

To be fair, it's possible to get all roosters if a breeder doesn't have a well trained sexer on staff. If they were feather sexing birds, that's a different story.
Only very large hatcheries IMHO can afford to pay that highly skilled person to vent sex.

I would completely understand, but they have some auto sexing breeds so I really hope for those, they at least try to pick the females for me.
I'm kind of regretting winning this auction now.. I should've just bought the birds on my terms.

This is why I'm worried: I contacted them on Friday, before I won the auction to buy 2 Cream Legbars and 2 Swedish Flower Hens.. No response.
Still no response until now.. No idea what's going on.

Being a weekend and a holiday weekend at that, you may not hear from them til Tuesday. Lots of people spend weekends with their families instead of working.
