Hi its very true I'm too ill for most pets, I'd love a dog but couldn't walk it so no good
I actually thought the only pet I could manage( apart from my cats but they are more like family!)
Was going to be a tortoise, now don't get me wrong I was looking forward to it, but then I discovered chickens

Yes I love my cats too
I just think I'd get a bit more appreciation and love from a dog
Instead of dirty looks from Horace the cat because his egg is over poached!

I had no idea how personable chickens could be until we raised our first dozen chicks. Individual personalities with their own social order, who needs soap operas when there is a flock of chickens to watch?

they are so cute!!!! and yes cats do give you looks, the embarrassed look, the I hate you look,

but there are also so manny cute loving and affectionate looks!!! and once there was a wise old saying " in the cat's eye every thing belongs to the cat" (it's so true!!! the cat thinks even you belong to her!!) .... but I love them for that!!
