Complete Newbie - Chickens and pygmy goats...

i am a newbie to these too.. actually... i havent even picked them up yet. they wont be ready to come home until next week. I got 2 doelings, and when/if I want milk i will have to find a buck for stud. I have been having the same issues with researching and conflicting info so thats why I am here and I am glad to have found this thread!! although mine are dam raised, they have been played with and handled a ton.. so I dont have the bottle issues. the feet trimming scares me! but I found someone on craigslist to do it. I figure I can watch it done right a few times and then continue myself. he charges $10 a goat.. so the $$ is worth it to me!

I got pygmies because of room restrictions. they will share a pen with the chickens, but they will have their own house.

Congrats on the new babies! If your like me, you're going to fall completely in love. The amount of info is so overwhelming and more importantly conflicting. I am doing the same thing about putting him in the house with the chickens except I'm going just build him a stall. Right now is on my porch swing. I just got him out of the house.
