Hello everyone! i`m a total newbie to owning chickens. My grandfather used to own about 200 white leghorns when he was a kid and he gives me tips but other then those tips I know nothing! I do TONS of research so my chickens stay healthy and happy at all times. I have 3 VERY friendly rhode island red hens, Marley (mine), Lulu (mine), and penny (my sister`s). I also have 2 very shy white jersey giants, roody the rooster (my sister`s) and frosty the hen (mine.). I live on a 4 acre farm and also own 2 horses. I had 2 ducks but recently got attacked by a weasel. My chickens have 2 coops, one is homemade inside my mini barn and the other i bought from Canadian Tire.
