completely bald head!!!

I have 24 bantams, about 10 roosters, the rest hens. I noticed that one of the hens is completely bald!!!!!!!! I picked her up and checked up close, no blood/scabs, just a bald dry head!!!!! This is the only one................what could it be? a rooster pulling them out or is she going bald(whatever causes that) please help! thanks!!!!!!!!!! aubrey in nh
 
I've seen it too. Only thing is, it was my drakes doing it to my chicken hens! Crazy ducks!

I was given 3 RIR bantams in various states of baldness a few months ago. The feathers are slowly coming back on their bodies, but their heads seem to take a while. They came from a crowded coop situation. I am not sure if it was the roo or other hens, but they sure were ugly when I brought them home! They actually look MUCH better now...

I got a chicken saddle for the one who had the least back feathers. I would love to find wigs for the others....

I agree on removing some of the roos. You have way too many...
